I've really given myself a lot of Time evaluating this Remake. The first Version was unplayable, the Patches afterwards gave hope for Improvement.
What is presented as ' finished ' after Years here, however, still scoffs at the Example. In my Case, the many plump clues below the Belt line and even deeper Effusions of the Makers of this Crime do not help.
The Default for an HD Version is actually clear:-Better Graphics and Presentation of the previous Game.
-No Losses over the Original.
-At the Same time, improved User Guidance, because hardly anyone wants to highlight the tried-and-tested Keynote note today or make Drawings of the City Map. Perhaps an Adjustment to more contemporary Versions of DSA would also be suitable-but this is very cautious and well-balanced.
The Result is unfortunately:-One, measured by its Predecessor, at least slightly improved Graphics, which supports HD Resolution. In keeping with It, however, it would have been 10 Years ago and has already been overtaken by the Successor Sternschweif (yes, the classic Version).
-The Presentation is not recognizable as such. The Intro has already got the Original better, I'm sorry. Perhaps a few emergency Guys make the typically nerdy appearance of the Amazon in the (admarked classic Cover picture) (which would by no means look like this, not even started, let alone fight like that), but nothing more. In the Game itself, there is hardly anything that can be seen anyway (thankfully?).
-The Original Pieces of the beautiful Music, which were quite beautiful at the time, are still randomly distributed, as they were at the Beginning. For Connoisseurs of the Original also a rough Slap in the Face, which cannot even be solved by Mods. The Speaker is ... Actually quite good, but just as out of place as the Rest of the Team, apart from the Programmers, who can't (at least according to my Man) can't do anything for this Stuff, who just program what these third-class "Designers" came up with.
-The Makers have actually managed to make the crude and already absolutely antiquated system of DSA even rogibleer, more antiquated and more difficult than it was. The Product actually manages to completely undo them, despite some emergency improvements, by making the System even more difficult. So now you have to deal with dozens of Long-distance Fighters, who also poison diligently, seem to be super Lucky to dice and of course, despite their horrendous armor classes at least 2 Movement points have more than our Heroes. This makes a big START to a new DSA round, in which our Master Gets Acquainted with my rolling pin and the tried and tested Fists of my husband through my Accumulated frustration.
I recommend everyone to make a huge Bow to make this "Remake" unless they are masochistically predisposed and have too much Time.
Everyone else takes a good half the Time (and a Quarter of the Money), playing the Predecessors thanks to DosBox and enjoying real Nostalgia. Or not, because certain Things can also be remembered and enjoyed newer titles.
I'm just shudder by now when I read or hear ' Remake ' ' HD Version ' OR similar.
All of this is my Opinion and does not have to agree with You, so I ignore various Comments that try to convince me otherwise.
The Review also applies "only" to the this Title here. Look, however, At the fact that I will steadfastly refuse to do one of the Successors of those.
tldr: Don't by it, its crap, stay with the original.
