About

We think they came from space. We think they are evil. But, we know they have invaded the cities of Earth and made all life a bummer, so they must be destroyed. However, they are impervious to all forms of conventional weaponry.

Fortunately for humanity, Dr. Klaus von Hammersphere has discovered the rare element AntiOrbium which sends the Evil Orbs back to whence they came (wherever that is) and he has invented a device that he affectionately calls the “Elementary Evil Orb Disposal Device 2000” (EEODD 2000 for short) which can be used to shoot and deflect balls of AntiOrbium at the Orbs. He is recruiting you to wield this device and save humanity. What do you say? Do you want to save humanity?

CONTROLS

Use your mouse to control the EEODD 2000 and fire balls of AntiOrbium at the Evil Orbs. Because AntiOrbium is a very rare element, there is only so much to go around. Fortunately, you can also use the EEODD to control the balls after you have fired them at the orbs and try to knock the balls back at remaining Orbs to maximize the amount of Orbs popped per each AntiOrbium ball fired.

GAME

The Evil Orbs are devious and have utilized common materials from Earth to protect themselves from your barrage of AntiOrbium.

As in any armed conflict between humans and mysterious Orb-like entities, Dr. Hammersphere is hard at work inventing special powerups for your EEODD 2000 to win the arms race with the Evil Orbs. Utilize these powerups in different combinations to overcome whatever the Evil Orbs throw at you.

Once you have popped all the Evil Orbs in a city, the cloud of total bummerness will dissipate from the newly saved city, and the residents will celebrate your victory with a party. But, no time for you to stand around celebrating, for you must save all 132 cities around the world in order to stop the Evil Orbs before they complete their plan for world domination.

Save a city by using fewer AntiOrbium balls, and Dr. Hammersphere will reward you with a medal for your thriftiness. Can you earn gold medals on every level?

Along the way, you and Dr. Hammersphere just might solve the mystery of where the Evil Orbs came from in the first place.

Evil Orbs reviews and comments

A kind-arcanoid, that's only here plaque nailed to the screen) https://youtu.be/SiybAW1Qk00 that the board in the game is stationary, gives the game difficulty, at the same time the uniqueness and diversity in a large number of arcanoids. Well and naturally it does not Completely stationary, it can be twisted on 360 degrees. Well, as it is supposed in the arcanoids you need someone to destroy with a ball, beating his board. In this case, the destruction is subject to evil smiles. To Pass the level you are given a certain number of balls, and the less balls you lose, the better result of the passage of the level: gold, silver or bronze. Also you will gradually open bonuses type, increase the ball, or at once 2 balls at startup or slowing time or sight and many others. And Finally the level you will expect the boss, as well as without it) Pluses:-Beautiful graphics-achievements-originality-a lot of levels-mult and board of Honor Cons:-Achieving a long open-no maps to All fans of the Arcanoids worth playing in this product, Here you will see many innovations in this long familiar to us genre of game. Product received for free In casual games plot and history are often only applied character-they are needed only as a logical link between levels. Game Evil Orbs tells us the story of the invasion of hostile Evil Balls on the ground. Nothing is known About them, except that they like to seize cities and use all kinds of buildings for their protection. Scientists naturally did not waste time. Professor Dr. Klaus von Hammersphere found a rare element Antiorbium, which is extremely aggressive to globular invaders and literally teleports them to where they came from. On the basis of this rare element was created a thing called "the Device Elemental Utilization of Evil Balls 2000" and the honor to use it for the benefit of the Earth fell to the player... So much pompous description should set us on the game similar to at least Half Life 2 or at least Portal, but everything is much more brutal and hardcore. «Device Elemental Utilization of Evil Balls 2000» Looks like a plank, nailed in the middle of a nail to an invisible wall and rotating around them on all 360 degrees. And the projectile that we shoot at the spherical invaders represent the most common red ball. Agree brutal, it's not you with a nail on the woods to run. At First It may seem that the game is made very clumsy and uncomfortable. Shooting at the enemies from a fixed point and then beating the ball to change its trajectory with the help of the rotation of the board at first time causes misunderstanding. The Game seems boring and challenging-the ball most of the time flies on the screen without your participation, while often not even getting on the enemies. But then... The Game begins to tighten. More and more cities on the map remain freed from Evil Balls, less effort is spent on correcting the trajectory of the ball. The constant use of the selected features slightly changes the gameplay of each level. Evil Orbs combines several ideas from casual games. And does it very well, though not perfect. The Game looks pretty old-fashioned, which can scare fans of modern indie. And nervous people to play it and it is not necessary: a plank-manipulator is able to take out of itself in a few minutes. But Still, this game is quite interesting. And for those who have little story campaign, there will be something to do in Duel and challenge mode. And of course-Steam achievements. But The cards alas have not brought...
