Product received for free http://store.steampowered.com/curator/31966938-Stintup/https://www.stintup.com/exorder/Exorder presents us right from the start a plot of mold 100% fantasy: There are two brothers (Prince and Princess), a king and two other kingdoms Its neighbors. At the death of the King the Pandemonium is unleashed, first of all between the two brothers, later also with the neighboring kingdoms, in particular with one of these. The Prince and the Princess contend for the Crown and therefore begins a challenge, which will be won by the Princess, who will become queen of Cerulean; The prince will be part of the troop of soldiers of Vermilion, the neighboring kingdom allied to Cerulean. The kingdom that will really create problems is The Federation.
When We start the game, after being introduced into the history of Exorder, we will begin with the battle between Beyla, the princess, and Tristan, the Prince. This battle will serve as a tutorial. We will illustrate the gameplay mechanics, how to move, how to attack, how to look at the specifics of our characters or enemies, such as total and remaining life, attack or defense scores, how many steps they can make and so on. The Life of each character can always have an eye on them thanks to the indicator above them. It also explains how to recover life and, continuing in the game, we will also be explained how to hire mercenaries or various warriors, how to invade the houses (source of health) and take possession of the estates of enemies. The More you get into the game, the more characters will be available, each of which will have specific characteristics: it is up to us to create an army as balanced as possible so that we can conquer every single level. To Hire Warriors or mercenaries you will need to spend the coins conquered by killing enemies and the bonus given at the end of each round based on the amount of houses that you have conquered.
In the singleplayer campaign the levels will be 12 with progressive difficulty, but with more and more features available (essentially new characters or allies). For each level you will be given one or more goals: if you fail to complete them, you will need to start the level from the beginning or, if you have done a save, start from the last.
As regards the singleplayer, in addition to the campaign mode, we will also have Skirmish mode, in which you can choose the battlefield you prefer, you can also choose whether to play against a player or against CPU. You could Not miss the multiplayer where you can choose between two options: Create a game or enter an already created.
Exorder also supports controllers, but I do not recommend it personally. It Is uncomfortable and more laborious than it is with the mouse, but we still thank Solid9 Studios, for having added this feature certainly appreciated by all lovers of controllers.
Graphically I enjoyed it very much. Cartoony, ironic, with bright colors, funny and well-characterized characters. Even the various maps have been made with care and with discreet attention to detail, also creating shading. It Will be possible to move the view by using the mouse wheel; We can choose a view from the top or angulated, almost lateral. Personally I preferred the one from the top that allows an overview of the situation. At the top, in the middle, it will be possible to see what round of play we are (our or that opponent); On the left is the menu of settings through which we will also save or exit, while on the right we will find the counter of the coins in our possession. On the bottom of the screen, in the center, will be displayed the characteristics of the place or character on which we clicked. The subtitles of the dialogues during the animated scenes will also appear Here.
The sound is good, the background music does not bother; Good also the performance of the sounds of combat, which vary depending on the character used and depending on the weapon. Some parts are dubbed, namely the prologue and the epilogue that will be presented at the beginning and end of each chapter of the campaign; A female voice was chosen, probably Beyla's. Initially I did not appreciate it, because I imagined it different, then I have to say that I revalued.
As For the difficulty of playing in campaign mode, I personally found some levels challenging, but I state that the strategic/tactical turn-based games are not a genre on which they are very well founded, indeed. In any way you should not be frightened, rather, requires only a few attempts.
Warning: The game is only available in English!
