About

Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is an add-on to fantasy strategy game Fallen Enchantress developed by Stardock.

Plot

The game is set in Elemental. This fictional world was once used as home to many civilizations. It has been torn by war and Titans, immortal gigantic creatures that fight for world domination. The game tells the story of a few survivors that try to rebuild their lives in a completely new world.

Gameplay

The add-on does not change the base game's gameplay much. The game is nonlinear, featuring sandbox gameplay. While not participating in campaign quests, the players are free to interact with other factions either waging war upon them or making new allies. At the beginning of the game, the player chooses whether to create a new sovereign or play as a pre-set one.

While building up their kingdom, the players have to keep an eye out on their resources, technology research, and development of their own sovereign using magic spells.

Legendary Heroes features

The add-on adds two new factions; a fame system, that now allows the champions to spawn based on your amount of fame; a revamped character leveling system; new huge maps; several new monsters; refined graphics engine and UI; several new quest branches and items with them.

All these changes do not drastically affect the gameplay, yet the add-on's features are a welcome addition to the game. It was given free of charge to the players that pre-ordered the game.

Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes reviews and comments

NOT OF KALYPSO BUY FE: LH is a great Game and I don't want to go into the positive Aspects at all. Other Reviews already make Enough. Instead, a Warning from me to anyone considering buying the German Retail Verson from Kalypso Media. Let it be! The Translation is not so plump and lacks Content. Among other things, a complete Scenario. It does Not help to change the Language to English, nor does the Support of Kalypso help. The Developer does nothing about the German Version either, because he is no longer responsible for it. After writing Kapylso support several times since 2013, whether the missing Content will finally be delivered, I have now deleted the Game from my Library and bought it directly from Steam. Worked, but the Money for the boxed Version is futsch. I will stay away from the Puplisher in the future when it comes to translated Games.

I played this Game for a few Hours and after it is finally smetered, I can now write a compact Review. Short and painless: Pros: + large Worlds + Well thought-out Upgrade system for Units + Nette Quests, which you can perform + Different Breeds and Monsters + Beautiful Level system for Cities and Heroes + unit design tool Cons:-Pixel Graphics-Every Unit must Getting an Upgrade individually (Hab nix found, which allows you to upgrade everything at the same time if you have the Resources)-Strange Combat System (Order of Units changes gratuitously, in my Opinion)-Automatic Quick Selection of units after you Another moved is to despair-Automatic Lap end after moving all the Units (Since you can't go back into the City view)-Missing Texts and "Script not found" messages-No Way to set the Graphic at your own Discretion-DLC It is not available, although the Main Game is not finished In the current State of the Game (it has been out since 2012).

A good and large 4X Strategy game exclusively for Single Players that combines pretty skillfully playing Areas of Civilization with Master of Magic. In addition, Role-playing elements (equipable Items for Heroes and Armies, Quests) are introduced and everything can be piled up here, be it the Heroes, the Armies, the cities and also the opposing Monsters leveln at Intervals. It's always unfortunate to lose an experienced Squad that you've kept alive through some Fights, so the Game manages to build a personal Bond of the Player with his Possession during each Game well. The Heroes cannot die in themselves, but receive Negative Traits as soon as they lose Fights. One himself plays the immortal Ruling Figure, which you can initially choose from a Series of Races and Classes. This Character acts just as actively on the Map as the Heroes. The Game World thankfully dispenses with the usual dwarf and Elf Clichés and has new Well-crafted Fantasy peoples As well as a Creation and Doomsday story to offer. There is also quite a wide range of DLC offerings. The AI is Broadly fine and its Difficulty customizable, the Single-player Campaign alone includes just 1 huge Map, which is a little disappointing. There is a Workshop and Editors for UGC, but it is hardly used because the Random Map Generator probably renders such a thing superfluous.
