Expeditions: Viking
About
Get ready for an adventure in history! Logic Artists, the makers of Expeditions: Conquistador, are pleased to bring you Expeditions: Viking.
Prepare for a grand adventure
As the newly appointed chieftain of a modest Viking clan, you’ll have a village of your very own. But to carve your name into the runestones of history you’ll need great strength, and great wealth to grow your village’s prosperity and renown. There is little left to be gained from the Norse lands and so you must set your sights on the the seas to the West, where tales speak of a great island filled with treasure ready for the taking.
Seek your fortune
Your trusted huscarls will follow you to Valhalla if that be the order of the day, but you’ll need more than loyalty to leave a legacy that will be remembered for a thousand years. Now assemble a worthy band of warriors, build a ship, and seek your wealth and glory across the sea. Britannia awaits in Logic Artists’ Expeditions: Viking.

I have now played through the game with 40 Hours of Play. Will probably start a new Way to take other paths.
The Game has been quite successful through and through and the Story is also Intressant. Conversations with his own Companions give more Depth and you can even start a Romance and you can get Married. Forging Covenants or being the typical Looting Viking gives different Possibilities.
The Difficulty is in Heavy order, but not really Demanding. The AI sometimes has smaller exposes.
Unfortunately, the Ending comes too quickly and very surprising. You could well have made the Game longer because the Potential for more Fabric is there. For Example, a joint Campaign with the Danish King Against Charlemagne/Franken or Saxony would have been possible after the End had been reached, etc.
Also, it is no longer possible to continue playing after the End and a Game + system is also not available.
I had Fun with the Game and have been well Entertained. A solid Work, but not a Masterpiece by RPG, as the End is reached too quickly and you actually want to keep playing your Story.
Key Points:-Good Music-Great Mood-21:9 Resolution is supported-Great Weapons and Unity System-Very Beautiful Skill System-Great Characker Editor, also for its later Mercenaries.
-Many Paths and Possibilities always divert differently and Decisions-Alliances with Piktland or England possible-Great Paints and Armor, especially with the Picts-Beautiful and Solid History, but unfortunately not Outstanding-Well made Campaign-paths System With Camps and intermediate events, Such as: On the high Seas comes a Storm. The Mast buckles. Do you Want To Repair Him With Raw Materials? Or someone Commands the Mast to Support? Etc.-Motivating to ascend his own Clan and expand his Village-Village is also visualized while expanding visually. For Example, when expanding the Palisades, towers are also erected, etc.-Very good Support, which tries to fix the Errors as quickly as possible. Patches/Updates are currently being submitted quickly.

A Little better graphics would have been a good Thing for the SPiel, mainly because of the many Armor and different banner colors.
-The Difficulty. On Hard fine, but with better Armor increasingly too light, Enemies Later become too weak and don't necessarily have better Equipment like at the Beginning of the Game.
-The AI Enemies, sometimes tactically Clever. Sometimes also tactically Stupid-Time set for capagna sections. For me, Realistically designed, but perhaps annoying for some-Upgrading the Longhouse (own House) is represented from the outside, but nothing visible Is being Built in the House. For Example, the Interior does not get large Tables or a nicer "throne"-Village to my Taste a little too Small and too little "Crying Factor," small Population despite expansion of the Village-No real Setting of the Game, not even much in English. Many Texts without Setting. Occasional Show setting at the "walking Around" of the Companions-End-sequence as a Film and its Decisions and their Effects are shown In a Cinematic way. Beautifully Done, but unfortunately also the only Cinematic Representation of the Story _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _-Rare Game crash E/Crashes (stand 02.05.17)-Some Bugs and Game errors (stand 02.05.17)-Resource system Partly too easy. I got far too much Raw Materials in part and had no "Worries"-For me too few Task-/Quests. More Stories and Narratives would be great Won-No New Game Plus-After the End, you can't continue to expand Games and your Village or continue "Looting" etc-ugly Rounds finish Button-History had potential to continue, hopefully Coming a thick ADDON/DLC to this Review stand is 02.05.17 Own opinion Have bought the Game and am not a Professional Tester Much Fun with the Game!
I Recommend it, despite minor Weaknesses.
