About

Steam Exclusive Offer Customers who buy the game will get this Steam exclusive, a digital shikishi of Ritona! About the GameThis version on Steam is the Director's Cut version that has additional content and features from the original Japanese release, all thanks to our Kickstarter backers. You can switch to Japanese by pressing the J key on your keyboard, or back to English with the E key. fault is a series of Science Fantasy Cinematic Novels using a unique 3D Camera system for a visually immersive reading experience, which follow the story of a princess named Selphine and her Royal Guardian Ritona. When a sudden assault devastates their homeland of Rughzenhaide, the two are forced to escape… but somehow end up teleported into an unknown forest full of vegetation they don’t recognize. The atmosphere is thick and heavy. There is no sign of life, which is very unusual for such a lush forest. Something is wrong about the land… But they are too startled to notice what. Who were the attackers and what was their goal? Where did Selphine and Ritona end up? Will the two make it home safely? And more importantly, what has happened to their homeland? Follow Selphine, the bubbly, happy-go-lucky Princess and her sharp-witted but slightly misanthropic Royal Guardian Ritona, on their journey of a lifetime back to their homeland of Rughzenhaide. fault's episodes are called "milestones" and scheduled to be released periodically, created by ALICE IN DISSONANCE, brought to you by Sekai Project.

Transhumanist Nonsense! The Story begins with Magic and Fighting. It gives the Impression of a Fantasy Story. But Then it switches to a technology-oriented And medieva-like environment. A Pair of Figures that occur at the beginning, E.g. Koko, Mharie or Siam, will not appear at all later. Instead, in eeeemishingly long Conversations, who or what Rune is Is taught. (She is, of course, a Robot with a human Soul. This is clear from the Start! ) Then, in the End, the Magie/Fight strand is picked up again before the Story ends with an absurd Cliffhanger. In Chapter 3, there is the only Decision in the Game that does nothing (except for a different Conversation). The Writing Style is nowhere near as infantile as in "If My Hear Had Wings" and therefore also yieldable. Oh, and Thank you to the Makers for doing THE TO NOT ABBRECHEN CAN!!! I have now Rescinded more or less four Graphic Novels about me, and wonder if the Stories in it always have the End of the World, physical Disability or misery and Moaring on the subject? I'm going to play the second Part of fault now. Let's see if Ritona turns out to be a Boy, or is clarified in eeeerously long conversations whether Ritona and "Selly" Are gay. I'm excited.

Fault milestone one is a roughly seven-hour visual Novel. The Story centers on Princess Selphine And her Bodyguard, Ritona. Their Kingdom or Castle (with Neuschwanstein-Türmchen Castle!!!) is under attack at the Beginning of The story. It's not too much of a reveal when I say they get through the Beginning of the Story. Now you should actually think that the Rest of the Story, in the broadest Sense, revolves around the Attack on the kingdom-but don't Do it in the remotest way. On the Contrary, the Story drifts on and on, getting lost in (I find boring) Details that traditionally need to be discussed Japanese down to the smallest Detail. In the middle Part, the Story gets quite bloody, which doesn't suit the Rest. The different levels of knowledge of the Inhabitants do not really fit into the universe. Unfortunately, in the Course of History, one can only make one Decision, but it does not have any further effect. But It is not really bad. The Story eventually ends in a real Cliff-hanging that raises more Questions than Answers. Fault milestone one is probably only the first Part of a Series of visual Novels. Not often, but just initially the Game also has English Sentences around your Ears, which bring you out of the Reading flow. Example? "The uncouth commoner placed her boots onto the now-soiled embroidery covering the table, lounged back in the dining chair, and relaxed her eyes." All in all, it's a real shame. You want to like the Game, but it doesn't let you.
