Feature Creep (Baked Orange)

Of course, the HTML 5 version of the game is buggy. Some sounds just don't play, and some particle effects often don't appear. Your highscore and options also aren't saved. Downlaod the game for the best experience.

Made for Godot Wild Jam 36 for the theme Uncontrollable Growth.

Even with good planning, it can be hard to avoid feature creep.

In this fast-paced arcade style game, you are a game programmer, doing some game jamming marathons. You need to upload your games before the deadlines, and games with more features gets more points.

However, each feature slows you down, making it harder to get to the upload. And they just keep coming. Your games soon grow uncontrollably into a wild mess.

CONTROLS

WASD - Movement

Left and Right arrow keys - Rotate

Space Bar - "Cut Corners". Removed all slowdown, but subtracts 25 percent of your score, and your game only earns 25 percent of it's points.

Escape - Pause

Uploading a game with 5 or more features increases your score multiplier.

Coffee powerups give you extra speed and you lose no speed with features.
