The game is heavily reliant on gacha (gambling to acquire better items) at ridiculous prices.
Also the company feeds its user base rubbish such as “the game we run in Japan is different than the game we run in global” to excuse themselves of some really pathetic changes they are doing, such as not running any New Years gift campaign which is customary for such games. The Japanese game is 6 months ahead and global does not seem to make any effort to catch up. It is an almost free milk cow for the publisher.
