Finding Rick
About
This is our entry for Global Game Jam 2021. Spent 4-5 days developing the game with a group that consisted of 4 passionate individuals.
The following are my main contributions to the game:
- AI Programming
- Developed a state machine that handles the logic behind the Enemy's behaviour in-game (Attack, Chase, Patrol, etc.).
- Utilized Unity's Animation Events to implement accurate hitboxes and audio cues.
- Implemented a headshot feature, where the player can deal more damage shooting to the head compared to shooting other parts of the body.
- Puzzle Design and Logic
- Designed the concept of the puzzles.
- Implemented the backend logic on how the puzzles work in-game.
- Team Management
- Taught the team how to utilize Source Control (Git, GitHub, SourceTree).
- Rick
- The idea of Rick.
