First Rock from the Sun

Created solo for Beginners Game Jam #3.  Theme was "A Different Planet".  made in Unreal Engine.

First Rock from the Sun is a 2.5D platformer where you avoid the sun's rays in order to gather ingredients to make tacos.  Roll, Jump, and hide your way to your friends house so you can bring Taco Tuesday to Mercury.

Humanity has moved to Mercury and figured out all the difficulties that come with it except for what to do about the powerful sun.  You play Johnny, who wants to bring the tradition of Taco Tuesday to Mercury, but he lacks the ingredients.  Johnny has friends though who are willing to help him out.  So Johnny hops in his MATV (Mercury All-Terrain Vehicle) to head out to friend's house to gather ingredients.  But to get there he'll need to traverse the unfinished scaffolding and avoid the constant solar flares.
