Fish&Ships

This game was made for the Video Games Lab: Game Jam 2021, which theme was "Arcade". 

Sail the space seas and try to collect as much fish as you can in a limited time. Your boat has a limited capacity which forces you to deposit your fish in the portal located at the beginning of the level.

To collect the fish, just explore the planet you landed. By exploring new places, fish will automatically be collected, until you have explored 75% of the planet. The maximum amount of fish you can get on a planet depends on its color (green = 25, blue = 100, orange = 300).

While in space:

Move with WASD

Change the boat speed with Shift

After landing:

Move with WASD

Take off with space
