Born to kill

GabalEx is a little 2D Shooter where you control your soldier with the arrows and use the move to aim and shoot. You cannot move while firing but you can hopefully  evade bullets.

With the money earned with your kills, you can buy random cards that will allow to upgrade your soldier, or build up a Squad to support you in your war.  Each squad member
(for the moment there's only a gunner to support you ) can be upgraded too.

The backgrounds were made by ansimuz and used with his permission, all the other art is by me.

What next ?

It's surely got some bugs and feel empty as hell, as it's a little updated project of mine to practice some pixel art.

 But anyway if you like it, or would like to see the game finished, please let me know in the comments.

Here's a list of unfinished business so far :

• grenadier soldier with different animation
• gunner squad with its own sprite and animation
• adding music and more sfx

• add more opponents with different patterns
• add the Sniper squad (powerful shot that never miss a random opponent on screen, fire at some interval)
• add the grenadier squad (fires random grenades on scree)
• add a player bomb, that explode and eliminates bullets and opponents.
