Galactic East

Kayla Fielding knew she wanted to see the stars since before she even knew she was a girl. It's why she was so eager to hop on a cryogenic sleeper ship from Earth to build a home with like minded colonists among the stars.

In some ways, her dream came true as she now lives and works hundreds of light years from Earth in the  far flung Eastpoint star cluster, a home to multiple inhabited planets and a trio of sapient alien species all mostly getting a ong and more than willing to accept a "blessed" one such as herself...

But she didn't expect to be working as a "Sister" in an alien religion.

She didn't expect to be burying over 20,000 victims of an interstellar disaster.

And she definitely didn't expect someone would be trying to kill her...
