This is our continued work on our jam entry for My First Game Jam - Summer 2019, optional theme: Pride. 

Control player movement with "left" and "right" arrow keys, fire a laser blaster by holding the spacebar, and when the rainbow beam is available (indicated by an icon in the upper left), press the "up" key to charge it! 

Future plans include touch controls, mouse controls, and gameplay that's actually fun (Enemies that don't just pop up at the top of the screen, multiple kinds of enemies, breaks between waves, upgrade system that actually feels rogue-like, etc.)!
