GENERATIONS (wildchylde)

It’s the 1980s. The sun is setting, you just finished watching a movie with your dad, and now he’s taking you to see… a scientist with some strange new device?

Strap on your virtual goggles and traverse generations of gaming in this homage to 2D platformers.

DEMO NOTES -- PLEASE READ ME:

Can skip the tutorial and dialogue story dump at the beginning. No save function yet.

CONTROLS:

• Movement - Arrow keys
• Jump - Space
• Hover - Shift
• Progress/Initiate Dialogue - T
• Use - F
• Menu - Escape
• Zoom In - E
• Zoom Out - Q

Only Vectrex levels available now.

KNOWN ISSUES:

• Initial dialogue scene is cringe -- just some quick ideas that will be polished later
• Dialogue timings might be weird sometimes -- I'll be adding some stuff later during these short pauses, so please ignore any slight, weird pauses for now
• Typewriter text wraps as it's typing
• Parts of menu incomplete (leaderboards, visual, level select, save)
• Menu dimensions and other GUI issues might occur -- PLEASE give me details if they do
• Not all levels have backgrounds

Possible issues? -- The dialogue system is new and I might've missed something. If something sounds out of place, let me know.
