Avira detects 2 Pb in Genesis rising: genesisrising. exe and testapp3230. exe contain heuristics virus

Eternal error messages then you can't get any further than the tutorial because the screen freezes ... But especially since there are no patches to the game I find the team should take it out or make sure that there are updates to it ...

When You start the Game, there are a Lot Of Error messages. In the Game itself, the UI is sometimes missing, some Of which are not visible to ships. With Ach and Krach the Tutorial, in the 1st Campaign mission my Ships were not visible. Thus, a total Mispurchase. What a pity

tl;dr: nope. Cool ships, interesting surface, but crap y story and gameplay. It works for me, no bugs. But... porly lore, porly scenes. RTS and 4X have evolved a lot, and this game not. Even for a 2007 game, it doesn't add nothing in story. Cool ships design, cool skills, but a little weird interface and hard keyboard configuarion.

Beware when Buying This Game is Faulty, the Game cannot be stored in the Battle. And from the second Mission, the own Ship is not fun, which is indispensable for the Mission. Seperate patches that could not fix the bug also cannot be inserted is probably because it is a Steam Version.

hello, that game seemed insteresting (i kind of liked the idea of organic ships.. etc) and i bought it on a sale... played only the tuto, Games is working so far. But since i installed it i'm receiving virus alert on the exe at least once a week... Second trojan in a week.. Never had this problem with steam before.. So the game seem to work for me even with antic pc ! so far so good ! The ambiance and the universe of the game are original i think.. So i'd really like to put a thumb up... But for viral infection i'm gonna thumb down.. So i guess : fans of this style of game, try it. But i can't recommand it because of viruses threat..

This game could have been one of the best Space-RTS games out there. The problem is, it lacks polish. It feels like the developers didn't have enough time or money in the end. This game still has excellent graphics and ship design, interesting and innovative combat system, good story-(telling) for an RTS with decent cutscenes and the ai is pretty good. I recommend this game for its price, but ONLY if you are more like a "hardcore" gamer, becoz this game is tough, even on easy mode. It's unforgiving and u can't save during a mission, only in between. The ui and control could be much better. So, if you don't need a super polished casual big cash mainstream game, this game is worth a look. :)
