A land where everybody seeks glory!

Glory Hunters is an action-adventure RPG for the Nintendo Game Boy where you seek glory points by obtaining achievements.

Glory points are the main currency and they are mainly used to open your path in this world. You can upgrade your health, buy items and hire people to help you on this quest.

Gather materials and aid the townsfolk around Glorianta to earn even more glory points, and be careful how you spend them because the next achievement may become harder to get.

Attempt to save the land by awakening one of four gods (upcoming chapters in full game), meet many characters across the land, and cleanse the shameful monsters that lurk within the dungeons.

Only Chapter 1 is available, but we intend to bring you the whole story!

Become a glory hunter and remember that pain is temporary but glory is eternal!

Install Instructions:

This game was made for the Game Boy Competition 2021 with GB Studio and is intended to be played on a Game Boy DMG or Game Boy Pocket using a flashcart. You can also play it using any Game Boy emulator.

Add the .gb file to a flashcart or open the file using a Game Boy emulator either from your computer, emulation device or smartphone. A save file will be created automatically.

If using a Game Boy Color change the palette (grayscale) by pressing left + B at the same time when the Game Boy Color logo loads up. This will improve your experience greatly (some of the assets won't translate very good to other color modes).
