Glutton (Copious)

Description
You are a monstrous blob of destruction. Move around and consume buildings, trees, tanks, and whatever you can find. Grow larger and increase your threat level to unlock new abilities, consume the world, and bring an end to humanity.

Controls
Use WASD / arrow keys to move around and the mouse to look around. Consume things simply by getting close to them. Special abilities are: Dash (L-Shift), Shoot (Spacebar), and Pulse (L-Ctrl). You unlock them as you increase your threat level.

Game jam
Submission for "My First Game Jam: Winter 2023" with the theme growth. Some extra polishing and features were added after the jam. The game was created in Unreal 5.1 as a Blueprints project.

Credits
Landscape and concrete textures were sourced through Quixel bridge in Unreal, and the main font is Cute Bubble by Creaditive Design. YabokuVA helped out with the monster slurp sounds. The explosion sound effect is the free "War explosions" sound from mixkit.
