About

Hand of Fate is an unusual combination of various genres. It is based on mechanics typical for deck-building board games, but also features rogue-like and hack-and-slash elements. Its approach to the storytelling is typical for tabletop RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons.
You play cards against the Dealer, who is both your DM, opponent, and narrator of your adventures. Each card represents an item, a character, or an encounter. You navigate your character through the story that unfurls as you reveal the cards and make your choices. The goal is to collect a powerful deck of cards that give your character better weapons, armor, and other equipment. You can unlock more cards after you defeat bosses and complete quests. The Dealer’s goal is to hamper your progress, as he plays his cards to put new obstacles in your way.
Most of the time the game will only show you the cards and the Dealer who sits across the table from you. You will learn the events from listening to him and reading the text on cards. Battles, however, are actually fought in real time by animated characters on visualized 3D arenas. This is very unusual for board game simulators and brings some variety into the gameplay.

Hand of Fate reviews and comments

Really cool and creative game that combines hack and slash with card game elements.

Absolutely game ^ ^ Even though I have already had the career through, have conquered everyone opponent, almost every item has still been motivating in endless mode and in errunwilling to pick up. It is basically a kind of board game where never one round like the other it. You play against the mysterious Dealer, he hands out cards on the table and you play a character who spring from card to card until she has found the exit. But every card has its history and you get weapons, shields, artifacts, flee, blessing, helme etc you try to push your way into the next level to fight against one of the chosen bosses at the end. You gradually unlock many new cards, equipment and much more. There is Also a lot of fighting, there are a lot of opponents who try to make it difficult for you to live. This game is addictive and is still fun day for day ne meenge! One of my favorite games ever! Everyone should have played it do.100%ige purchase recommendation! Graphic, sound, atmosphere, gameplay everything great, haven't found anything I could expose to the game it's just perfect:)))))) http://store.steampowered.com/app/266510/Part 2 is bought 100%

Greet you, Hand of Fate is a Rogue-like card Game that has it all. The first Steps are really motivating and the Game Leader is still gracious. But as soon as he starts, one should be prepared to experience some Frustmoments. Ok, it motivated me to play one More round, because a Round in Hand of Fate lasts between 5-30 minutes, vllt. Even later an Hour, I can't say at the moment. A lot depends on Happiness. What Cards I run Over, what Cards I draw, I manage the Encounters (you have a Choice of 4 cards and depending on the Task you have several Enormous success.Promisation/Enormer Failure cards that are Concealed and you have to Pick a Pick.) The Fights themselves are really chic and play like the Arkham parts (Batman Arkham Asylum/Arkham City/ect.) Sometimes the Fights are simple (when the Game Leader pulls a Monster card with only 2 Monsters again) or you get really something popped against the Head (3 Monster cards with a Boss and 2x 6 Monsters are really fies.) So If you enjoy fretting and accepting Happiness as a Victory or Defeat Factor, you can access without hesitation. Anyone else who prefers to rely on their Skills and can't do anything with the Factor of Luck than Success or Failure should rather make a Bow around the Game. To any old board game game/card game bunnies I can recommend it. I've really Enjoyed it so far and it can also be played quickly for in between without having eternally long sessions. In that Sense, cheerful Monster Hunting and bite into the Keyboard.
