June 2020, three months prior to the release of RPGMaker MZ - everyone's beloved hero, Harold, is on one final mission with his friends before retirement. However, anxiety of a remote retired life (away from the lifestyle he's grown accustomed to) weighs heavy on his mind - so much so that he is distracted, and gets gassed in the face during the final boss encounter! Suffering the after-effects of the gassing, Harold awakens as three aspects of himself, in an unknown location called the Dead End, in a pickle of his own making. Join Harold as he attempts to find a way out of his predicament, and a way back to his friends. 

So absorbed in his fear of losing some things, Harold now finds himself in a position where he could lose everything! 

Gameplay features:

• A narrative mini-epic spanning 7 chapters (inclusive of prologue and epilogue) told over the course of a little over an hour*. Join the three aspects of Harold as they journey across the realm known as "Dead End" in hopes of finding a way out, and becoming whole again. *Developer completion time!
• Carefully crafted cutscenes with specific timing for maximum impact! Join the aspects of Harold as they fight, scream, and claw their way out of the Dead End via a variety of insane manoeuvres!
• Featuring a mix of amazing tracks from the brilliant Northsound Inc., ayato sound create, and YouFulca - providing an amazingly immersive experience!
• The ABCs of combat Mk.II! Simple, yet powerful combat system centred around "Seal, Reveal, and Heal" combo-based skills. Seal deadly enemy AoE attacks, strip them of their defences, and heal whenever the need arises. Utilize and master this system on a host of enemies and dangerous bosses!
• Punbelievable enemies (Wait, don't leave! Sni-deja vu?). Encounter a mix of original and RTP edited chimeras whose designs are mostly based on puns!

For those looking for the Harold Jam 2022 required elements (non-spoilers):

1. Harold: the main character in the whole or aspects form;
2. "What have you done, Harold?": at the end of Chapter 5, post-boss-fight - the boss says this;
3. "Dead End": Starting location of Chapter 1. Technically Chapters 1 - 4 all take place there too.
