Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star

I loved the first Hatoful boyfriend, the second one is rather different. Several little stories rather Visual novel, no choice. There is a "shrine" mode where you can find the dating SIM side but it is not the main aspect of the game. And my God, where are the music? But hey, Shuu/20, it's still as funny as the previous.

The pigeon has undeniably a certain comic potential but it does not make annoying texts like the rain more exciting to read so far. It's funny about three minutes that some birds live human stories but it's still stories of very lame humans. I may have missed the delirium of reading emptiness on the background of ugly illustrations and music free of law but I almost pioncer after fifteen minutes.

Attention, I recommend this game, but only for the pure and hard fans of Hatoful boyfriend. The different scenarios of this game are pure delirium, nothing to do with Hatoful boyfriend and his moving script. Holiday star plays more on the meta side. There are really nice bonuses and references to other games that I find quite well placed. If you feel ready to be seized by delusional and detached stories of the main story, go ahead!

It is much more a Visual novel than a game since the first three episodes offer only one choice each, either by the result of the story or by a game over. The last episode increases this number of choices to 3. Still, I don't regret it. By taking his time, the game must last about ten hours and for who loves the original game, despite two first episodes that I found worse, the story of the holiday star itself is well worth the detour since it is the extension of ugly backgrounds of the characters in the first episode. In short, if you have platinated Hatoful boyfriend out of love of characters and the completely barred and tragic writing of all the storylines, I recommend holiday star.
