Heart Of Contagion

This game was made for PIG Squad's Global Game Jam 2023, which had the theme "Roots". This game was made over the course of 18 hours. You discovered a creepy red root burrowing deep into a cave, and to your sanity's dismay, you decided to explore it.

Mechanics

- W & D or left and right arrow keys to move

- Space to jump

- Aim mouse to aim gun and flashlight, left click to shoot

If you die on the ground, a lantern will be placed next to you, upon collection of this lantern, you will get one super powered jump.

Additionally, there are checkpoints that will allow you to start from the site of that checkpoint.
