Here's Your Change!

Here’s Your Change is a video game that simulates the experience of a cashier at a liquor store, through ringing up and conversing with customers. As the game progresses, the player's world changes to mimic the process of gentrification. The customers, store, and items gradually change to cater to and reflect the newer, more affluent population as what was familiar to the player gets pushed out.  Our goal by the end of your play through is showing you how gentrification causes the displacement of low income communities.
