Early Access Review Update 31.01.2016 I love Tower Defense Games! This Game, too, belongs to this Genre, but comes with some fresh Game ideas.
+ + + The great thing about the Game + Wonderful, atmospheric Graphics + challenging levels, with pleasant Increase in difficulty + Many Ways to improve the Heroes (Runes, Skills ...) + New Game idea with Heroes drawn to any Positions Can + High Replay incentive through different Level Settings.
+ Monster Waves are randomly generated + high Gameplay fun-coherent, gloomy, exciting Atmosphere + can also be played on Laptop:-) + upcoming Multiplayer with ELO system To Explain ELO system: Two Players compete against each other. Whoever can defeat his Monster Wave first wins the Game. Each Player has a Basic Score at the Beginning, (the ELO number) which increases by a Win and which becomes less when the Player loses.
How many Points a Player wins or loses depends on the opponent's ELO number. For example, if the Player defeats an Opponent with a much higher ELO number than he owns, he wins more Points than if the Opponent has only a smaller or equivalent ELO number. The ELO system is known from Chess and serves to determine the Strength of a Chess Player. If this is really built into the Multiplayer, this would be very nice.
-/+ Neutral Impressions-/+ The Game is also embedded in a small Story, which includes the Tutorial.
In the Beginning, I was a bit bothered by it, as many Intermediate Clicks are necessary to confirm Passages. Later in The game, however, this became less and less and only necessary for the actual Density.
-/+ The Heroes are usually clicked on the left and then moved to the Target With the right Mousebutton. Somewhat awkward. But with the Number Buttons 1-5, the Heroes can be clicked directly and then moved to the Target With the right Mousebutton. This greatly simplifies the Movement of Heroes.
---What could be improved-That this monster waves also need To be combated in different Ways, it is necessary to scroll the Map. To do this, the Card is held and moved with a left click. This is not so pleasant and in need of getting used to. However, a Solution to this is not so easy either. Help could be an additional Overview Map that could be called at any time, the Game is stopped briefly and on which the Heroes could be moved-or set to-different Positions. If the original Map is clicked back, the Heroes move to the Set Positions.
Another Option would be to be able to zoom in on the map to get an Overview of the Landscape.
Even a general Break Button that is Currently holding the Game could help.
However, these are all Suggestions for Players who may be more Casual Gamers and have Problems with the Speed of the Game-just like me:-). Other Players may disagree, because they just think this Challenge is good.
-The Paths of the Monsters are marked by Lines, but they disappear again.
I would find it better if the Lines were constantly preserved-or at least could be called again at any time by pressing a Button. At The moment, the Lines will reappear when the current Or upcoming monster wave is clicked on the current or upcoming monster wave in the upper Display of the monster waves. Is a little too awkward for me.
I can fully recommend this Game. The great Graphics and the exciting Gameplay with the many expansion/improvement Possibilities of the Heroes, offers long-lasting Game fun. When the Multiplayer comes ... Madness, then this Game is certainly a good Buying option for Players who like to play Tower Defense games.
