With an eye-catching design and a twist on the classic hero story, Hoard uses it’s gameplay to underscore it’s message - not all bad guys are really so bad.

Taking pointers from the classics, Hoard uses platforming and various other mechanics to produce a player experience that feels nostalgic and familiar while also expressing new ideas and design elements.  Colorful assets help keep younger players engaged while a progressive level design process keep older, more experienced players entertained as the game moves on. Fresh game mechanics and harder later levels provide incentive to continue, and the continued reinforcement of “the bad guy is the good guy” allows players to more easily empathize with a character who’s normally seen as the enemy.
