HumanKind: The Awakening reviews and comments

It Is a card game with good and entertaining mechanics, in addition to a style of play by phases and actions, is a bit tedious at first to understand the types of damage and skills of the cards, but after a few games, follow the tutorial and aids in-game , it makes it easier and easier to understand. It Is a complex game that makes it a challenge, is constantly reliza leagues and tournaments by cards, which keep the player active. The illustrations of the letters and the art in general that envelops the game is attractive, also its system of reputation of factions makes you think that you are part of one of them and it involves you in it. I Recommend playing more than once the tutorial and play casual watching the help in-game to get the mechanics, skills and types of damage, which at first complicate, but then turn out to be easier to understand what is believed in the beginning.

I like the concept of HumanKind game, I followed since it was a physical TCG in Chile, but the truth is that this version is a bit weak. It Lacks design criteria. Little visual coherence between the concept of "game World" and the game itself. It's so flat all that it's a bit boring. Although The game mechanics are interesting, the visual still does not captivate. Clear Example of this is when you open an envelope and you get an array of letters that you click and disappears without more. Here I would give more emphasis and emotion, after all a game is more than images doing something, is an experience. Another point to emphasize is the presence of "Spanglish". This is a detail that although it does not directly affect the game, there are people (like me) who perceive as if the game lost "seriousness" to put it in some way. If I choose the option {on Spanish, it is expected that ALL this in Spanish, I insist only is a detail, the English they use is super Basic or you miss anything, it is only rare. If I may suggest a few things: Play more with the imagination. It Is a full-fledged TCG, however that the boosters are directly envelopes like the physical ones, I consider that it is a little boring. I would propose to play with the World of play and its history, for example, that the boosters are briefcases and to open it out the cards and that these come difereciadas in its rarity, that you can feel with emotion that you leave a very rare letter. Try to remove the static design of the game a little and try to play more with the visual. For example, in the profile without more put a transparent box with text that indicates your games played and several. Maybe something more graphic can help. Game mechanics are interesting as always, have potential, but it is necessary to exploit that potential. I Understand super well that is in development yet and eventually may change, but this is my opinion of my first impression. I Recommend the game, it's entertaining, but the visual still needs polishing. Best regards.
