Game is Fun, despite initial Starting Difficulties. However, first Had to research what I can do at the Settings, have disabled the Staem overlay, since then it has been running flawlessly. Only Shortcoming: It seems to support only one XBox pad, others don't seem to work.

This game had been made with lots of love !!!! It's full of action but you never get lost.
If you have loved URIDIUM on c64/spectrum, then here you have the best possible remake one would expect.
Yes it's release 1.0, and i expect additional options coming in a possibly additional levels on the long term.
But what has been achieved so far with this first version, is really first class.
Congrats Devs !

Hyper Sentinel is a homage not only to the shoot em ' side ups of the Eighties but also to the various systems of 8 bits that existed at that time, because it mixes the frantic action of Gradius, R-Type and Salamander with the possibility of being able to enjoy with CU Atro graphical modes belonging to the MSX, NES, ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64, in addition to the thunderous sounds of special effects do not believe that we are in front of an arcade machine in front of our computer.

Product received for free as far as I remember, I always liked shmups. I had the chance (?) to know those of the years 80/90 of which hyper Sentinel is inspired. Big pixels, strident sounds, everything is there! For older people, the game even offers a cathode ray tube display, ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64!
The goal is very simple, you drive a ship that can move to the left or right of your screen and you have to eliminate all the ground targets to bring up the boss of the level. A scoring system is present, so it will be necessary to try if possible to leave the defenses alive, to raise the combo gauge, to pick up the bonuses that appear, etc.
The big problem is that, old game forces, the action is really zoomed and we see almost nothing. It's simple, it's almost impossible to dodge an enemy that's on you. Between the time it appears on the screen and the moment it is on you, you barely have time to move. So we end up shooting without looking too much what we do, move up and down hoping not to take shots and obviously any fun game disappears at the same time. A radar would not have been too much.
You can feel the love that the developers bear for their title but for my part it did not work, I found it more frustrating than anything else. After an hour it went a little better but at no time did I really feel like I could scorer in good conditions.
