ICY lives up to Its Name and is a really cool Game. We are in a Post-apocalypse era, seemingly the whole World is iced. Our Performer, whom we can create individually, suffers from Memory loss and belongs to a Nomandan Family. One Day it is massacred by Bandits and partly enslaved. The Survivors are now rallying around the Hero, seeking Revenge. The Story is told in Text Form, and there are coherent Pictures reminiscent of Oil Paintings. On a large Area Map, you now move your Party and work Off Story points. Essentially, you run from one Settlement to the next, you get Information and you have to do Something like It. The consists of visiting, exploring and carting certain Things. For this not to be too easy, there is resource Management. First And foremost, the Group must budget with Food, Gasoline, Ammunition and Armament to survive. On the Way you can hunt in Forests Or search for Objects in abandoned Villages and Houses. This can be done quickly (+ Risk) or slow (-risk). Things you find, in turn, can be sold. On the Way, you will also meet Bandits, who then have to fight. The better the Armament, the easier it gets. Every now and then, there are ground-breaking Decisions to be made, such as who comes along and who doesn't, or whether or not to kill someone on Behalf of others. The Extent to which other Decisions will ultimately have an impact is to be left unquestioned. I think there is also a lot of Gaukelei here. In the End, I can at least say that there are two different Endings. But It seems to me to be irrelevant what happened before, because the two Paths are close together. You don't have to play everything again to see the Alternative. By The way, the Revenge Story is only half The battle and also the Amnesia of our Hero is explained later-and all of a sudden everything is different ... So: Icy is really Fun, not too heavy, but certainly captivates you. It's certainly not THE Survival Game out there, but the round 5-10 Hours you need like that are good Pastimes. recommendation!

Pretty bad and above all overpriced Game! At ICY, as the Leader of a Group of Nomads, you have to survive in an Ice Age world. The Game has a linear Story that involves the Rediscovery of kidnapped Group members and only just before the End splits the Storyline and you have the Possibility to reach different Ends but otherwise there are often only Fake-options in the Storyline. To Begin you create his Character and distribute Points in 3 Properties (Strength, Mind, Charisma) and 10 Skills (Firearms, hunting, Medicine, ...). Only the Skills can be increased in the course Of the game. Unfortunately, some of the Skills in the Game are hardly used. The Main Game is to control your Group via a 2D card and keep it alive as well as follow the Story Line. In this respect, however, the Possibilities are very limited. Hunting In the Forest, looting Buildings, visiting a City to act and/or talk as well as doing Chores. Those were all Possibilities. From Time to Time you still run into an Event, which is often repeated and often have little Or no impact. The Story is still quite interesting, but also not world-class. The Story is Supported by the well-drawn Wallpapers, which are also partly used several times and a coherent Soundtrack. Unfortunately, the rest Of the game is pretty bad. So even after more than a Year the Game still has some Bugs, such as overlapping Items in The Inventory, misleading Texts, events that fail all the time, ... The Fights are monotonous and offer few tactical Opportunities. Also, the Fights with me were extremely simple. The Same applies to the Survival part. Not a serious Challenge. You practically swim in Supplies, which is also due to the Fact that when the Buildings are looted, you can only Find supplies and Consumables, but you never find better Armor or a new Rifle. When it comes to Action, it's the Same thing. You have a pile Of money but no Opportunities to buy better Equipment. I've only seen 2 different Arcs in the whole Game. The Game just seems unfinished and unbanged! I would only be in the Sale at a high Discount (over 60%) Guess to Buy. P.s. However, The Game is to be remastered by the End of the Year and many of the Problems described above are to be fixed.
