I.N.K

I.N.K is a single-player 2D side scroller, action platformer, Shoot 'Em Up in which the player must go through a series of intricate and hazardous levels filled with challenging obstacles and enemies before reaching the final boss.

The game puts you in the shoes of a lonely bounty hunter (aka “BigShock”) who has been sent on a mission by an unknown entity, to take down the underwater criminal organization known as I.N.K (aka Intrepid Northern Kingdom) which is led by an evil and nefarious self-titled “Lord VanSquid”.

The game's rank/karma is defined by the number of enemies killed. The winning condition of I.N.K is to reach the end of the level without losing all life points and eventually defeat the sea mafia boss.

The game was made for a 1st year university project and was created on a custom engine on top of the MonoGame framework.
