Interstellar Rift reviews

Too early-accessy for now. Singleplayer is in fact a local server host (as usual in this type of games), it's a pain in the ass to actually host it, the community is pretty much non-existent as of 09.21.20. The optimization sucks. Gotta wait for further patches, skip for now.

Early Access Review Designing its own Spaceship and then sourcing the Matierials to promote its Design into the Game World is already a lot of Fun. I spent more Time Designing my Ship than the ultimate you would fly with it. But this is also due to the fact that there is not much to do at the moment. A few Missions to get Credits are in place, but always run according to the same Scheme. The Aliens, who constantly walk on the Glue, play Ball Bumps with my Ship and are also crazed ugly. I would like to see Aliens in plausible Spaceships. Then to be able to loot them in order to get rare Materials and Blueprints in order to expand your own Ship zb. A good Approach. There is also an urgent need to add more Building Elements to the Editor. The Wall for the Interior cannot be combined without anything protruding or the like. The Modular Principle should be adapted in such a way that everything can be tickable and can be combined with any other floor/deck/walls. The Network Code always busts. So right after the Joine you get kicked out of the Game again. The Performance goes massively into the Basement for several Ships and the Game becomes more and more spongy even after some Time only flying through or Miners. A restart usually helps a little. Verdict: Contra: Lots of Bugs, missing Kontent, ugly Aliens and MP performance Issues. Pro: Super Reason Idea. Quite sizable Graphics with Air up. Sound goes too. Updates are coming so far, too. I think the Price of €152 for what you get on Offer goes OK. Those who have Patience and don't want to fret about the developers thinking a walk-in toilet are more important Than finally bringing more building Blocks and Missions into play should still wait.

Early Access Review Already a Blocking Space Survival Again? Not quite ... Interstellar Rift is already Living up to its Name. Countless Solar Systems that can be explored. Within a System you move with warp 1-9 as in Star Trek, other Systems you get through a Crack (Rift) that you open there like in Andromeda. Editor: The Editor is Modular, which means I build a Room and put the Wall, ceiling, Floor and appliances in there. Similar to the Building Building system in The Sims. You have to make sure that your ship also has enough Energy and is built efficiently. That it does not consume while parking Fuel etc. After that, it goes to the Exterior design, which can become very Blockhungry at the beginning, but gets better after each new Ship. You can get a Lot of Ideas in the Workshop. The first Ship, or the Resources to Build the created Blueprint, must now be farms. Or you can buy an Entry-level Ship on one of the Starter Stations. Pros:-Giant Game world, if you don't want to be found, you'll never find it-good Multiplayer feeling, the bigger the ship, the More People you should have in your Crew-Small but very Auxiliary community, I haven't seen a Game where the Devs are so close to Are it up to the Players. -Every 2nd Tuesday, Patchday is too little with heaps of innovations and Bug Fixes-Steep Learning Curve-Good soundtrack-Good Graphics Cons:-In single Player rather boring-Still too little Kontent, which gives a Playing time of about 50 Hours for Casual players. (I'm a Fan, my 450 Hours don't count ^^)-Too few Players and few Servers, the more players, the more Fun! -Unfortunately also more againthered, a Player spawns a Ship or joint the Server and it depends first for everyone. To the Fans of SpaceEngeneers, Empyrion, Starmade AND co I can highly recommend IR as it does many Things even better than mentioned Games. The Developers are big SciFy Fans themselves and like to go into good Ideas that fit into the Concept. For all Casual Gamers, waiting until the end of 2016 for a Final Version. €15p is absolutely ok and IR is already worth it two times. Greez BiGEdge
