Intervallic (Demo)

Intervallic is a rhythm-based game where you use a MIDI instrument or keyboard to control a flying space cat as you soar through the planet of Audius! Intervallic wants to help you learn to play music and works to make real instrument practice more fun and engaging!

This is an actively updated in-development DEMO of the full game, so we're posting here to receive feedback from users like you! Please leave as much feedback as you can, either here on itch or by email at [email protected]. We are a group of college students passionate about games, music, and education!

Our full release will include:

• MacOs with Apple Silicon and Intel Support
• A level editor and sharing platform
• Additional "biomes" which focus on varying styles of music
• More robust feedback and tips for improvement
• Support for more instruments
• An original soundtrack
• Additional story and character development

Technical details:

This game is built and tested on Windows. We currently support standard computer keyboard input and MIDI input -- for MIDI, a keyboard is recommended.

If you encounter a bug:

Try the following actions if you encounter a bug that is disrupting gameplay:

1. Return to the main menu and load up the level you wish to play again.
2. Close and reopen the game.
3. If the bug still persists, contact us via our Instagram, Discord, or [email protected].
