Hello dear People, Invention is a First-Person Shooter that you played through just under in an Hour. It's the first Part of the Series.
Graphic: 5/10 The Graphics are not completely scrappy. It serves its Purpose, only what I find a bit strange is the "Organs" that lie around. Some of them are so large that you think a Cow was killed instead of a Human Being. The whole thing plays in a Bunker, apart from the "Level" headings, the Bunker comes into Its own.
Sound/Music: 2/10 Music does not exist, or to make so few that I have forgotten it. Soundsetting I find most important even in such Games, but unfortunately this one is boring and not really good. You don't get into some Rooms and then you only hear Noises there, good Approach, but poorly implemented as you run through Like Rambo and really no one is a Threat.
Story: 2/10 There's a Story. One is a Bunker, there experiments were done, finished. This is told By means of Notes. If you take such a simple Setting, you might want to stage the Story differently. The Environments have a reason to help tell the Story, but unfortunately it plays such a small Role overall, it could even have been omitted.
Gameplay: 3/10 Gameplay is unfortunately also a Disappointment, you have Features indoors like Hunger, but even if the hunger bar is empty, it has no Relevance. No Change, you can play like before. Tutorial is not there, but I don't find it so tragic, as everything is self-explanatory, except perhaps the Controls. You have an Inventory for Items that you can add to the Fast Bar or Equip Armor or if you want to change the Weapon. What's a shame is that there's the Feature Durability, which I consider completely pointless in the Game. The Gunplay is unfortunately not good either, as the Weapon always hits like a Laser and does not scatter. I almost only finished the Game with a melee weapon, as Opponents practically never hit you if you have enough Space.
Extras: 7/10 I want to distribute a few Extra Points for the Cost. You can't expect a perfect Game for £1. It stands out from the Rest of the Shovelware in Steam. You have 5 Levels and 1 Hour you need about Just under 7 Weapons and unfortunately not a real Final Boss.
Verdict: 19/50 Even for one Euro I can't recommend the Game. You prefer to play good F2P FPS shooters. Many useless Features that are just there but don't add Value. I'll look at Part 2 anyway, maybe the Developer has made progress.
