Early Access Review hammer game, must have for every VR Owner Multiplayer up to Now up to 4 VR people play together in a UBoot and thus share the Tasks: Navigation, Location (Sonar), firing targets with Telescope and Torpedoes, reloading Torpedoes, Flak bedi enen and Shooting down cargo tools ...
Each of these Tasks can also be operated mixed, so as in Real Life, all can squeeze into the small space and, for example, reload all 4 People (or how many should make Them) and e.g. Torpedoes (make sense, as you then have Torpedoes to shoot again faster).
The Multiplayer is sorted into US/EU/Asia, you can create Public Lobbies where anyone can go clean and Friends Lobbies ...
Singleplayer currently with ~ 8 Missions, which you can play on Easy/Medium/Hard and also adjust the "Help."
Help: "Waypoint" (sonar hears what and shows it to the Navigator on the Map), so if you send it out, someone has to actively listen to the Sonar where the opponent is and tell the Navigator ...
"Alarm" that when Schiffe/Mine/aircraft are there, there are alarms that inform the Crew about it (via a Sound (alarm)), so if you turn that off and a Ship shoots on you does not automatically address the alarm or when planes come, you only notice this when you Hit ...
"Reload" automatically recharges the (currently 4) torpedoes, if you do not have this Help you have: Push Torpedo into the Loading chamber with about 4-8 pushing movements (very heavy torpedo), then you have to close and latter the Torpedo valve, then the Torpedo chamber with Water flooding, after which it is shown to the Shooter "green," that the torpedo is ready to fire ... After the Torpedo is fired, you have to ventilate the chamber again (let water out), reopen and start over ... In Multiplayer it is recommended to use at Least 2 People when Reloading, the automated reload is slower than the human ... So you can also "help" with automated reloading and do it faster than the computer if you don't have a lest to wait.
All in all for Silent Hunter/UBoot fans an absolute MUST HAVE!!! Mega atmosphere, the small space in a Submarine does very well in VR (I have a 2mx2m surface) It's a very early Version, but still it seems to me as if it were already a Full version, now just missing more content, but the game is already doing richig bo Ck.
Cons: You have to spin relatively often and then the HTC Vive is somehow bothered, so it's time for the HTC Vive To become wireless!
Edit:-just discovered that when firing Torpedoes you can even set the Offset, i.e. hold on to reservations/ Very nice-have just to test, sometimes let Oxygen and Battery go empty ... When Battery is empty, you can no longer drive (no More engine noise), too bad the lighting is still going ... If the oxygen is all, you can no longer blow an oxygen into the uboot to show up ... Very nice but rather rare that you reach this state of affairs, you can automatically recharge this on the Surface ...
Edit2: There are regularly new updates, the coolest thing that has now been added: If the uboot has been damaged e.g. by ascending on minen/Shelling by lying down at sea ground, then water flows into the uboot (we know that and is not new), but now there are Pumps For Pumping the water and a Welding Device with which you can weld the places where the water enters ... MEGA GEIL!!!!
