A HOUSE CAT'S MISSION

To find his missing human, Jeeves must journey across a surreal basement world and confront a smoke-breathing nemesis to reach the forbidden surface.

Embark on a cat's tale in this short and sweet retro platformer featuring colorful original pixel art, pulsing synthwave soundtrack, challenging old school gameplay, and a heartwarming personal story about a cat's love for a girl.

• Play as Jeeves, a lovable Cornish Rex house cat!
• Scurry and leap through 4 surreal basement worlds littered with enemies, collectibles, and... litter!
  
• Jump on spiders, frogs, and other nasties to defeat them!
• Challenge a fearsome boss in his extremely dank lair!
• Eat pink hair ties for points and 1-ups!
• Smash and break human stuff for no reason! It's what Jeeves would want.
• Meow a lot with the highly useful dedicated meow button!
  
• Keyboard and Gamepad support!
  
• Playtime: ~15-30 minutes (how fast can you speedrun?)

Start Button TIPS

• Jeeves can jump higher the longer you hold the jump button
• Jeeves can also jump higher with a short running start
• Jeeves starts with 9 lives and gets a 1-up (extra life) for every 100 hair ties he eats
• Stomping enemies in a chain without touching the ground increases points
• Don't forget to meow! It must be useful for something...

DEV NOTES/ROADMAP

I made this game in ~1 month as a birthday present, using Blueprint and Paper2D tools in UE5. Another ~1 month went into polishing and "juicing" for this public Itch release. About 99% of the visuals are original.

This is a complete game and there are no current plans to add new content, though that could change if there is interest in more.
