About

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An unforgettable Adventure. It’s Lydia first day of school. In the magic academy where hundreds of scholars should be, none can be found... Keepsake will immerse you into a journey beyond compare. Assisted by a dragon afraid of height, Lydia takes on to explore the academy’s empty structures in search for her best friend Celeste. Curiosity turns to worry when she stumbles on something she has not seen in a very long time: an old doll, a keepsake she gave her best friend some 8 years ago. As she grabs it, strange images of Celeste’s life begin to fill her mind... Do they hold the answer behind the scholars’ disappearances mystery? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keepsake was a labor of love developed 10 years ago by us as an independent studio. For its anniversary, we thought it would be great to see it live again on steam and gain a new following, as we feel that it is still relevant today. It was hard and long, but we loved developing it and still remember those days fondly :) It's a point-and-click style adventure game blending 3d and 2d which would be perfect for anyone looking for a slower-paced style of game, with great imagery and touching story about a father and his daughter.

Product received for free keepsake is a great point and click adventure game, developed by the small independent Studio "Wicked Studios" and went out more than a decade ago. When I say "great game" I talk about both the quality of his screenplay, which I think can be compared to games such Sybéria, Myst and other well-known titles of the genre, but also of its lifespan which is more than correct (provided not to abuse the button d help). BRIEF summary of the story you play as Lydia, who makes her comeback in an unusual school, you had to find Celeste your childhood friend lost sight for many years. This one was supposed to meet you near the fountain in order to support you for your first day, but it misses the call and nothing happens as planned. You then find yourself alone and lost in front of the door of this fascinating dragonvale Academy, an imposing building borrowed from magic. It is the beginning of a great adventure, both funny, moving, poetic and mysterious, dotted with puzzles and trials that will keep you in suspense from start to finish. COTE graphics despite the years, the game is always as beautiful and a lot of care and details were made to the decorations: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1415456476 on the other hand at the launch of the game, a dialog informs us that it would be better to use windowed mode, I ignored this message and traveled full-screen game. This has earned me many crashes during games, so I strongly advise you to back up very regularly and not forget!!! If one takes pleasure in discovering, this immense School of magic, almost comparable to a castle, and admire the different rooms as well as its exteriors, we can not say the same for the cinematics that appear a little blurshed, dull and where the characters are not very well modeled. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1434105740 dimension GAMEPLAY keepsake is a point and click very old school, which requires many roundtrips between several fixed arrays, and even if Lydia can run, she does not move very quickly, more (I repeat myself) this school is immense so you will swallow a lot of travel, which in the long run can be boring. It is easy to get lost too, although you have a plan that you can see at your wishes, the whole thing is to know how to look at it and also to have a good sense of direction. Regarding the use of objects, everything is done automatically, no need to combine such object on another (key example on a door), once in your backpack, this one will be used as soon as the need arises. The puzzles and puzzles, are very sought after and have to generate a lot of work in order to push our meninges to harsh trials from where my comparison with the game Myst. They caused me a lot of trouble and I had to take it over several days to get over it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1433385761 to conclude keepsake is a game whose strong point is its scenario that transports us in a magical and moving adventure, the soundtrack is superb, but it is a game that one can hope to finish with a single milking, personally a few days of pause have been necessary to me because of the many roundtrips that have been due to my patience and puzzles whose level of difficulty is rather high. However, it is easy to forgive its imperfections thanks to the beauty of the scenery and its fascinating history. A very good game to advise lovers of beautiful stories, adventure, suspense, and reflexion.
