About

Knights of Pen & Paper is a meta-RPG that offers the player to participate in a game within a game. It is the first installment in its series. Gameplay As its name suggests, the game is inspired by the pen and paper RPGs in the vein of classic Dungeons & Dragons. In Knights of Pen & Paper, the player controls a group of people who participate in a tabletop role-playing session. The Dungeon Master is also under player's control. The player uses the DM to set up the battles with monsters and then leads the party members as they crawl through the dungeons in a fantasy world. The characters and the DM are shown onscreen in the foreground. The monsters and the locations appear in the background. Characters Each party includes up to 5 members. The game has a total of 19 characters with personalities like "Little Brother", "Hipster" or "Nerd". 14 of the characters are available from the start and 5 bonus "Dev Crew" characters can be unlocked. Each character has his or her personal bonus ability. Style The game is made in a "retro" pixelated visual style and is set to simple chiptune music. Knights of Pen & Paper includes a number of comical references to the classic role-playing games and popular culture. Edition features +1 edition includes additional dungeons and monsters. There are also new character abilities to use during the battles that make the fights more varied. This edition introduced The Tavern that allows the player to store and change his or her characters.

Can already say that the game is super fine:D So whoever plays DSA or so or have played. It'S probably a good time to take a look ^^ Wished Me even more lol sayings, but are already fine things there. You see a Golden little Ball in the Tree hole. Magicians "I want to have them, but I'm too scared of fleeing" Thief "I quickly plug them in ^^ so take a look;)

Just recommended! If you are into Pen & Paper and have nothing against old-baked Graphics, you should take a close look at "Knights of Pen & Paper + 1";) Interesting Story, here and there some nice Chucklers and also a long-term Fun for RPG fans overall. At First I could not think of anything under the Game and its Concept, but the Money invested paid off at all. We need more of the same! If I Had three Thumbs, I would stretch them all up:D

Knights of Pen and Paper + 1 Edition has brought a lot of Fun in between. My single k.o. Criterion in this Game is: NO Steam Cloud Game Time Storage. I only noticed this when I reset my Pc and installed the Game and could not continue to play. Since I was relatively far, this has already annoyed me a lot and hasn't played on since then. Everything else was very much liked by the minimalist Game (in all the noticeable Elements [Sound, Fight, Character settings]).

"Knights of Pen and Paper + 1 Edition" contains clearly despising Pay-to-win elements, which is why it can't expect a Thumbs up from the start. Before I can sink into Considerations as to whether a Game actually has an Awareness that allows it to expect anything away from Programming, here is the Residual Explanation: Screenshots of "Knights of Pen and Paper + 1 Edition" promise a beautiful World of metaleptic Hoax, where the P & P's Fantasy reveals itself in pixelated Fashion. Unfortunately, no one of the Developers has really played a P & P RPG, because it is precisely these that should actually differ from the stupid dungeon crawling and the Struggle for better and better objects, should be more story-heavy and interactive, which is why they should be more active in the field. Still very Popular. I didn't expect this Game to make me feel like I'm playing a P & P RPG, but you can still expect a certain Standard from a Game that bears "Pen and Paper" in Its name. In this Game, the Circumstances surrounding narrative Standard elements of the Role play are very skillfully exposed by Breaking down on their Basic Fractures. Actually a very interesting Thought-you would have only built on it! Instead, the bisplace-ironic Humour is used to belie the Game's actual Contamelessness.
