Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes

In My Opinion, one of Daedalic'S best Point & Click games. The Story is top and the Course Of action Is always surprising. The Humour is absolutely awesome and really vicious funny. That is exactly how it must be! Cons:-The "Bans" selection box has not always been displayed. I could only reactivate it again and again by pressing ESC and then choosing "Continue playing." -With only 3 Chapters almost too short. At least I was amazed at the quick End. That should have been more. -I don't care so much about the Achievements of a Game, but when they are displayed, it should work. After the End of the Game then not to have a single Achievement unlocked is already doof. But with the "Problem," I don't think I'm the Only one either. Pros: + The Story: Funny, well thought out, exciting to the End and with three alternative ends to Choose from. + The Characters: Great drawn, fulfill all Clichés. + The Setting (German): Very successful. + The Humour: Beautifully black and vicious, simply awesome and entertaining. + The Graphics: Like a 2D comic, beautifully drawn with lots of funny Details. + The Puzzles: Varied, entertaining and above all solvable without getting a Knot in the Brain. + The Game control is totally simple and the Inventory is easy to use. + Enough Storage space for self-stored Game Scores (with Scene image). Conclusion: Everything is just right here: Story, Humor, fun. The Game could have lasted a little longer, but still it's worth it. One of those Games you like to play more than once, even if you already know the Story. Can I only recommend to anyone who likes humorous Point & Click Games.

Harvey's new Eyes are the second Installment in the Edna & Harvey franchise and run storytechnically parts of Edna Erupts further, but tell a Story all its own. This is the One of the Convent Student Lilli, who does or experiences a Bunch of crazy Stuff in the Course of the Game to help her Friend Edna. Positive Aspects: A wonderfully vocal, pretty art-style, aided by equally coherent Music. A successful Characterization: Most of the Characters are quickly closed to the Heart, while you are only too happy to wipe one out of the Antagonist. Very nice Puzzles that aren't quite as crazy as the one in Edna erupts. But You still have to think around several Corners, of course. In some Places very black Humor. Censurgnome that always appear with their pink Color when someone through Lillis Hand, er ... Has an Accident. A wonderful Accompaniment to the Game'S Action by the Narrator. Relatively at the Start of the Game, Lilli is banned By Hypnosis from doing certain Things. As the Game progresses, you have to bypass those Blockages in the Subconscious to get on. This Mechanic gives the Game a little Spice. A relatively unexpected Twist just before the End of the Game. Negative Aspects: The Adventure is unfortunately noticeably shorter than Edna breaks out. There are considerably fewer Possible Combinations in terms of Objects, Characters, objects on the Screen, etc. Many Puzzles, Conversations, Levels are much more straightforward than in the Previous one. (This Fact is probably due to the shorter Duration of The game.) The Blockades could, in my View, have been able to create much more sophisticated Puzzles. (For Example, you have to turn off certain Blockages in a certain Order to solve a Puzzle with an Object.) Conclusion: To All those whom Edna breaks for Fun, I can highly recommend Harvey'S new Eyes; And probably any friend of Point-And-Click-Adventures. Although only Parts of the Previous story will continue, I can only advise to have played Edna breaks out Beforehand. It serves to Understand some Events in Harvey'S new Eyes ... And some Allusions to the first Part. All in All, a beautiful, entertaining Adventure and a worthy Successor to Edna erupts.
