Koi-Koi Japan [Hanafuda playing cards]

Koi-Koi Japan is a Card game from Zoo Corporation. Koi-Koi is a Game Variant of the Japanese Card Game Hanafuda, which is probably most likely to be compared to our Quartet. It is about collecting certain Cards that together result in a Combination, such as Deer, Boar and Butterfly. Depending on how many Cards the Combination involves and how hard it is to get to them, the individual Combinations give different Points. Each Player starts with 30 Points. Once you have a Combination together you can either finish the Round and steal points from the Opponent Or you can say Koi-Koi and move on. This gives you the Chance to get more Combinations and thus get more Points. However, this should always be weighed well, because if the Opponent gets a Combination together in front of you, he can now finish the Game and you go out empty Then, because the Loser of a Round does not get points, even if he has Combinations. So planning Ahead is highly recommended. However, the best Planning and Strategy sometimes does not bring anything, because like all Card Games, Koi-Koi is partly a Gamble. If you don't get matching cards and the Opponent constantly, the Defeat is almost certain, only the AI, which sometimes turns on quite stupid, can help you. The Player who has the most Points after 6 Rounds (or 12, depending on the Setting) or the Player who manages to get his Opponent's Points to 0 before the last Round has won. Which Cards fit together kindly always shows you the Game when you drive over the corresponding Cards and have them. In addition, you can always look up which Combinations there are and how many Points they bring, which is especially very practical at the Beginning if you don't know it by heart yet. The Music is pleasant and fits beautifully with the Japanese Atmosphere. The Same applies to the Map Motifs, which are also very authentic (as far as I can tell). I would also recommend the free DLC "Enjoy Pack" to anyone who decides to play this Game. On the one hand, of course, because it is free, but also because it adds additional Music tracks and Card Backs to the Game, which make the whole thing a bit more varied. Overall, a solid Game that I can recommend to anyone who likes Card Games or is looking for something in between. I wouldn't spend the Original Price of €10 on this Game, but if it's in the Sale you can access it quietly. EDIT: There is now also a Multiplayer Mode. Unfortunately, this one is almost dead, but if you find someone it is a lot of Fun in animal terms. So If you still have Friends who are interested in the Game get it together!
