Welcome to LARVA MORTUS.
I spotted Larva Mortus During an Action. At first I was sceptical, but after clicking through the Pictures I thought to myself: Why not.
At first, the Game Evoked good old Retro Memories, because by Principle, it plays like the good old Smash TV. One enters a Room in which there are already enemies and gradually sometimes those still follow and fights through space by room, depending On the Mission.
The Scenario is a Horror Scenario that is so visually set in the old Victorian Period. You play a mysterious Demon Hunter who follows a Main Quest Or Can fulfill side quest. In the Beginning still armed With a meagre pistol and a Sword, you can break boxes in the Quests, which consist of many Rooms, whereby objects can drop. These can be new Weapons, or ammunition if you already have the Weapon. Furthermore, rare Objects can also drop that either give many Points or improve your own Abilities. Furthermore, you get Points for each Kill and can gradually Ascend Level by level and then distribute Skill points. The small Repertoir ranges from more Damage from the Weapons to the faster healing of the Life bar.
The Monsters are different and from very easy to very annoying to defeat. Furthermore, there are so-called Champions who plug in more and hand out more and still Final Bosses who plug in and deal even more. This, in turn, depends on the Missions you assume. This can be a Rescue Mission where you rescue "souls" who, as if bitten by the Monkey, sped uncoordinated in the Rooms, it can just be the complete Monster Eradication of a Place, as well as the Killing of certain Boss creatures. Whenever you have cleaned a Room, you will see it.
So Much for the Game itself.
My Conclusion: The Game has a small Addiction factor, which I now call "another Room and another Room." It's Fun to push the Game forward, follow the Main Quest and make other Questers that repeat themselves, but are well suited to rearm When Ammunition has been roast to tougher enemies. Most Of them I use the Sword and when you know over Time how the Opponents are moving, it all makes it much easier. For hard Bosses, I use Dynamite or the Flame-tash Thrower as well as the Tesslaschocker When there are too many Enemies present, as the Tessla Does surface damage.
In the Beginning you levelt very quickly, so I packed the first 10 Points into faster healing. Then 5 Points into higher Droprate of Items and then 5 at Speed, which can be very useful for some Monsters. Otherwise, the Sword is the best All-purpose Weapon.
To the Story itself, the Main Queststoryline is unfortunately a bit short, but once you have completed that you can continue, which I do because of the Achievements. Now 21 Hours away, I still lack 3 Successes, but if I have them, everything is achieved. What I also find very nice Is the gloomy overall Scenario where Larva Mortus Is located and you could write a spinning book with the Main Quest Story. What is also very nice is the Music that adapts to the dustier atmosphere.
All in all, Larva Mortus is worth his Money and a good Ball game with a Retrofactor. I'D love to see a Sequel, or DLC Content. Maybe new Places and a new Story.
Clear Recommendation.
Thanks for reading. :)
