What a Gem I Dug out of my Pile of Shame! Reading the Title, I first thought of a lukewarm Summer evening in Late June or something;-) When I then registered at the Beginning of the Game that the Protagonist's Wife was called June, I suddenly became aware of my Misinterpretation and I guessed what to expect. Last Day of June enchanted me and touched me deeply with its emotional History. I can well imagine that the Developers were inspired by the Movie "Butterfly Effect" – because I had to keep thinking about this Film while Playing. Also in Last Day of June, the Protagonist Strives to change events from the Past to create a better Future. The Story is truly heartbreaking, coming to a head towards the End and finally making for at least a Lump in the Throat, if not a few Damp eyes. I found it outstanding that the Developers have dispensed with Language and Facial expressions when Designing the Characters – for example, all the Characters have no Eyes and speak Only Gibberish. All communication is Carried out solely through the Voting Position of the Gibberish and, in particular, through the Gestures. An interesting Try that I Think works fully in this Game. At any Point I understood what Emotions the Characters want to express, what Question they ask wordlessly or how their Mood is right now – just great! The Graphics as such also contribute to the Overall Atmosphere and Mood. Initially, I wondered about the perceived Blur. After Playing Through, I wondered if this Blur – in terms Of the Main Character and its Poor Eyesight – possibly another, ingenious Idea of the Developers. It's just a Guess, of course. If I Had to assign the Game To a Genre I would assign it to the Adventures und/or Puzzle games. Overall, however, there's not so much to do at Last Day of June. For example, in rather short Passages, it is important to change the Hustle and bustle of the Villagers in order to reshape the Future. The Game is quite linear and there is no Such Headache for The Tasks. In Principle, you can't do much wrong and mission Design ensures that certain Areas can only be entered even when it's necessary. Thus, not every Character has to graze everything and the next, required steps are quickly clear. I also really liked this Decision by the Developers, as the Game does not stretch unnecessarily. Only once I crashed the Game, otherwise I didn't notice any Bugs or anything like that. My only Criticism of this otherwise wonderful Game: There is no Way to skip the Cutscenes. Since some of these are repeated several times, I would have liked to have skipped the Sections that have already been seen, but unfortunately this was not possible. Conclusion: If you are interested in good, emotional Stories, who are not averse to some special graphics and would like to try something special, away from AAA titles, Last Day of June is encouraged. The Game time is 3-4 Hours, which have more than paid off for me personally.

Favorite Thing: The puzzle mechanic and seeing how each outcome chained into the next was neat.
Least Favorite Thing: Mumble speech. Sometimes it works but this game goes overboard with it.
