Legacy Of Souls: Origin of Anderos

Every one in griffin’s village (located west of jo bi koi) are falling ill, and not waking up.  griffin afraid for his family and friends, Seeks the help of "zalus" master alchemist of the 4th house (1 of the last surviving schools of dark magic, more on that later )  he was an adviser of his late father and lord of jo bi koi a town beyond the falls ruined by war(more on that later)
zalus gives griffin the ruby of Anderos  so that he may gather the power to defete his foes 
in great hast he places the  ruby of Anderos on the ground to defend his people but zalus absorb griffins people within the ruby 
zalus opens a portal used by the ruby the  likes of which griffin never seen. Zalus thanks Griffin for his sacrifice and explains that he was stuck in this world as he bid Griffin farewell. in a raged griffin pick up a spear and throw it at zalus but hits the ruby from his hand. zalus in a panic jumps in the portal then in a flash zalus is gone. Now drained of its power Griffin picks up the ruby of Anderos with no hope left; he searches the world for clues to resurrect his family and friends and track down Zalus and make him pay.
