Les Quatre Alices reviews and comments

Product received for free if you meet someone in a wood and tell you a story, believe it! The four Alices released in 2017, is an independent Visual history where one embodies a young girl who walks in the Woods, and who meets another girl, the sweet name of Alice. The latter will make you a story... I said that I received a key from the game developer. This gesture will not have influenced my judgement, be certain. The most:-the soundtrack, made by Kevin McLoad, is really successful, varied, and sticks perfectly with the text, and the emotions it gives off. -The whole game takes place in relation to a story told by our mytereuse Alice, at the corner of a fire, in the forest. This story, where we embody the said Alice, is located in a strange house, the estate. Without going into the details, at the risk of ruining the game a bit, this game is an ode to the difference, and the respect that should result. The developer, like the heroine and the characters in the game, has an ASD (autism spectrum disorder), and tries to educate a maximum of people regarding this "difference" that should not be a barrier. Under the guise of a fictional story, heroin denounces the way people "normal" treat "abnormal", and violence, physical as verbal, that follow, on the part of strangers, as on the part of a family member, but also the awkwardness of some to want to overdo them, and in some other way discriminate them. The different characters in the game embody the moral treatments that people with ASD undergo. -The service life is respectable for the price (about €2). About 1-2H of play, play if you prefer. -The artworks are successful, and glue, most of the time, depending on the place where the dialogue is going, making the whole immersive. -Level atmosphere, I say Banco!. The dialogues, mixed with artworks and music, make the game very interesting, sometimes creepy, sometimes joyful. Having small choices makes the whole thing more lively, rather than having a simple reading. In addition, some choices will bring you to different ends. -Some references to literary, video-playful or cinematographic works appreciated. -As I said, the four Alices, although being a video game, is also a message for all, not necessarily for moralistic purposes, and also for informational purposes. Sensitizing people in a playful way can not hurt;) The less:-the death of some characters is still pretty quickly forgotten. N.B.:-evaluation of the game 4 Alice: loRange journey--> see here conclusion: the four Alices is a good visual story, with a message for a little known and forgotten cause that the developer tries to pass. Melding violence and innocence, this game will make you think, leaving you your own conclusion of the story. ____ If you have found this evaluation useful, come join our curation page and our forums!
