Many who have rated here positively compare the Game with Penumbra, Amnesia and even SOMA.
Folks, I played all these Games and played the Game "Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs" Right before Lethe and I can only say Lethe Is a little Bunch of Misery against Amnesia and with SOMA you can't compare it at all!
Clearly Lehthe looks great from the Graphics, but that's all.
The Level Design is bad, everything looks the same and seems as if you had seen it 1 Hour before.
It's just death boring and doesn't bring a Piece of a chilling Atmosphere across.
You just run the Aisles and read boring Pieces of Paper, do the Tasks (and by that I mean tasks, too, because Puzzle or Puzzle you can't call that at all) like pulling levers and opening Doors.
The Movement with your Hands is also bad rather than right.
If you float something and come somewhere against falling the Object immediately to The ground, in addition, you can't even rotate the Object and position it sensibly, as is possible in numerous other Games.
For me, the whole Game seems quite monotonous, unimaginative and unfinished, as if someone had tried to program something but didn't know exactly how to implement it.
Even the Short Play Time about 4-5 Hours makes the whole thing a Bit buckle.
Too bad, expected me a little more.

The Game scores with the beautiful Graphics and the good Atmosphere. I like the game better than Outlast for Comparison. Since gings primarily survive for the survival, here it is more to assemble a Story with the help of old Letters, all of which are distributed to the Map in different ways.
The Story is interesting above all else, but nothing brand new or even Genre changing. But that it is an Indie Title must be commended.
You have to do smaller Tasks again and again (mostly pressing Buttons) and then you get further into it to finally face the ' Horror ' of the Island.
If you're into well-made, longer lasting (suppose because of Episode 1 that's coming more) and more story-heavy Horror Games, this is your Game.
For the Doubters: If you've had worse Experiences with such Titles, this Title could definitely convince you more than many ' Indie horror titles ' that are actually just Walking Simulator with a Cut Scence. :D + Graphics + Story is nice (and also exciting) + Map Design + Setting + Tension (not always there but quite there) + Surprise factor +-unknown Playing time no real Innovations If you want to watch the first Gameplay on You Tube here is the second episode of my Let's Play (you'll see a little more Gameplay than in Part 1:) Spoilers aren't really there yet except for the Story some small ones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bd-YqXkGJU
