Lost InSight

Lost insight, più che un gioco, è un esperimento. è la voglia di raccontare una storia in maniera alternativa, di provare a esprimere la mia creatività attraverso scenari particolari e personaggi unici. Personalmente reputo questo progetto molto astratto: è molto diverso da ciò che sono abituato a fare ed è forse per questo che ho voluto portarlo a termine.

L'incipit è molto semplice: la storia parla di un uomo che ha una missione da compiere, ovvero... uccidere una persona. Per farlo ovviamente dovrà prima trovarlo... ed è per questo si rivolgerà a lyssa, in cerca di aiuto. quello che ancora non sa è che il viaggio che dovra' intraprendere sarà alquanto particolare.

Il gioco ha elementi tipici sia del genere visual novel che di quelli comuni nelle avventure grafiche. Bisognerà parlare con le diverse persone che incontreremo nel nostro cammino e risolvere enigmi per avanzare nella trama. La durata è abbastanza breve, si parla di massimo due ore; non per questo sarà una esperienza strettamente lineare: sono previsti infatti tre possibili finali.

Lost insight, more than a game, is an experiment. It's the desire to tell a story in an alternative way, to try to express my creativity through particular scenarios and unique characters. I personally consider this project to be very abstract: it's very different from what I am used to doing and it's perhaps for this reason that I wanted to complete it.

The incipit is very simple: the story is about a knight who has a mission to accomplish, namely... he has to kill a man. To do that he will have to find it first... which is why he'll meet queen lyssa, for help. What he doesn't know yet is that the journey will be quite peculiar.

The game is a visual novel with common graphic adventures elements. You'll have to talk with different people on your way and you'll have to solve puzzles to advance in the story. The game duration is quite short, we talk about two hours at most; this doesn't mean that it will be a strictly linear experience: in fact there are three possible endings!

It's now up to you to lose yourself in this experience.
