Welcome to Mage McDuffy's Last Buffet!

Quick Summary: Mage McDuffy's Last Buffet is a top-down shooter with random spell attacks depending on what your spell dice roll every few seconds. Eat more food to gain more dice. Imagine this like a simplified Vampire Survivors with constant random rotating attacks. Made for GMTK Jam 2022 "Roll of the Dice".

Detailed Description:

Mage McDuffy is hungry and desires to eat at his favorite buffet one last time before his trip to the moon, but others do not like his voracious appetite. Get past these guys with your magic dice attacks!

McDuffy's attack is automatic but switches depending on the roll of his magic dice. One moment may be a explosive fire blast while the next may be a colossal winter blizzard. As McDuffy eats more he will gain more dice which will allows the ability to use multiple spells at once or the same type may combine into a much more powerful version.

Controls:

Arrow Keys or WASD - Move

Mouse - Aim (magic is automatic)

F4 - Toggle Fullscreen

Esc - Exit Game

Magic Attacks Include:

• Rapid Water Blasts
• Explosive Fire Bombs
• Shotgun-like Emerald Barrages
• Sharp Piercing Knife Assaults
• Massive Lightning Storms
• Blinding Frost Blizzards

Perhaps a true adventurer can get Duffy full to remember how to unlock his full power... but beware the General Manager...
