About
Create marvelous races, runs and tournaments(planned) with this marble sandbox. The built-in editor allows to create your own tracks!
The game is under development but you can test pre-alpha version and share your thoughts on it. Please join the discord server here.
The UI may be hard to understand and there is no tutorial yet so here is a brief explanation of how it works:
Quick startFirst click the edit button to go to the edit mode.
By clicking on plus icons you create a connection between hexes to form tracks. Try different configurations.
By clicking on the minus icon you remove a connection between hexes.
To put marbles on the track you need a spawner. Long press on a hex with a track to display context menu:
Next click on the spawner button
Your spawner will look like this:
Click on it to open a window where you can select marbles. By clicking on the marbles they will be added to a list at the bottom. Clicking a marble several times will add more of it to the list represented by a number.
Click Spawn to create the balls.
To unpause the simulation click the confirm button
Changing direction of the flowWhen in edit mode there will be arrows between connections that show the flow of marbles. You can change the direction by long press on the minus/arrow icon

Buttons in the play modeEdit: turns on edit mode and pauses the simulation
Camera: toggles between Free mode/Select mode/Auto mode. Free mode allows to move the camera freely using mouse or swiping. Select mode allows to follow a ball by selecting it. Auto mode allows to automatically follow the ball when it passes the start line or checkpoint.
Pause: toggle to pause/unpause the simulation Prepare: if start and finish line is present, this will prepare the race. Gates on all start lines will close. Start: starts a race and opens all gates at start lines. All marbles positions are saved so if the race is reset - the marbles will go back to this start position. Reset: resets the race. All marbles go back to their previous start position. Cancel: cancels the race. Buttons in the edit mode Confirm: go to play mode, confirm the track and unpause the simulationToolbelt in edit mode
Save: saves current level (currently only one level is available) Remove marbles: removes all marbles Ground level: created track is on the ground level Bridge level: created track is on the bridge level/over ground Free scroll: when this is selected mouse drag or swiping will scroll the map Draw track: mouse drag or swiping will create track when crossing hexes Remove track: mouse drag or swiping will remove track when crossing hexes
