Mariposa Valley - Demo

Mariposa Valley is a cozy casual narrative game created by Mundane Magic, a team of creators from all over the world (literally!). This project was developed under Code Coven's Summer Program 2021 with Facebook Gaming,  an 11-week game development incubator for early career developers of marginalized genders.

During the course of the program, we had to scope down on our original full game idea,  and instead submitted a demo of our game concept. We are hoping to continue the game in our free time after the program is over and, once we polish it up to our liking, look for a publisher!

Full Game Summary

Welcome to Mariposa Valley, a tiny town tucked away between the mountains that no one seems to know about. 

Parvana is a Mariposa Valley local and aspiring writer, who starts to notice something missing at the general store she works at. Words. Full words gone from people’s minds. At first she blamed it on poor memories, but then it started happening more frequently… and worse.
