The Program has Potential, unambiguously. A Mixture of Oculus medium and Oculus quill. It's a lot of Fun, just give it a try. Pros: Free (Early Access) Easy to use because the Functionality is not that wide yet. Save, Load Still Non-existent (there are partly my Wishes) Levels (Essential) Export/import (2D and 3D) create Templates yourself (as in Medium) Prefabricated Templates (as in Medium) online area, I think you will work with others on a Project Be able to work. More Possibilities for manipulation (subsequently rotate, smaller and enlarge Areas. Grid (I also wish in Medium) Not so nice (I write extra not negative because it's early access): Small Area to Create (the large Space on the Screenshots deceives) The Controls might be a bit more intuitive. You have to dial something too often on the Pallet.

Excellent software. the grip is almost immediate and I was surprised to be able to model recognizable shapes that I thought I could not do all right away in a very fast and spontaneous way. You can move the model, turn around, go back when you make a mistake,... There is no "gravity", the "matter" has no consistency and works without constraint. All of the time, with my Windows mixed reality headset, I have a pretty obvious lack of precision, not really handicating, but present. the really precise gestures are relatively laborious, especially in painting. Some options seem limited or missing. When I see the videos of the trailers, I find it hard to imagine that they were made with this app... but as I am beginner and I have not really explored the software, it is surely understandable. In short, even if it is not to invest seriously to make 3D models usable elsewhere, MasterpieceVR is ample enough to have fun and relax by creating nice 3D model with huge ease. I had never tried using 3D style Blender software or 3Dsmax, here it is intuitive.

It seems there is a big problem here I don't have with Oculus App I buy and use. I suspect STEAMVR to be really bad in compatibility with our 3 sensors setup. My machine is used at 30-40% on the CPU , the RAM is under 40% usage and it stutters non-stop. I got this System : I7-6700k 4.2ghz setup with water cooling ( H80i V2 ) 16 gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000 cl15 1 X M.2 Pci-E 256 gb WD-Black edition for my virtual memory set at a max of 32 gb EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 superclocked Power Supply EVGA 750 gold There ar e major bugs with resolution or it is really non-professionnal . It seems this software is not using enough CPU rendering and just focussed on the GPU . If we compare this to Oculus Medium , it sucks hard on the resolution capabilities , it is non stable ... but the concept is good. As it is a Beta version , I will wait a bit but ... if it's not on the software, it may be a bad adaptation do Oculus core 2.0 I use. I can do ABSOLUTELY AWESOME resolutions compared to this on Medium and the map will be much bigger. There is place for a lot of updates but I would like a lot getting help from the team . Maybe it is juste a driver problem with STEAMVR. It's not the first application I use on STEAMVR that does this poor recognition of sensors or ... stuttering at a 35% usage of my ressources.
