Medieval Kingdom Wars reviews

Early Access Review Normally I don't write Reviews as I'm not a Frequent Player in general. But Since I was able to follow the entire History of the video/PC Game world and always from Titles like AoE, Empire Earth, Stronghold, Total War etc ... It was sad that with such Titles also spent my most "Playing Time," I think I can comment on this: I am really excited about what this small Team is putting on its feet here! I can't really understand Reviews of some Players-how can you rate a Game that, even in this early Stage of Development, already has so much content after 30min. try it out? I have now played for about 8 Hours-and now I have a rough understanding of the basic elements (also thanks to good ingame support). The huge Research Tree is still overwhelming me at the moment-but patience and learning by doing is probably required (or simply make it smarter in the chat). Graphically, there's not really much to complain about-I think there's a good Job being done here, matching the medieval Theme. Here and there I would like to see more recognizable Icons/Buttons and more detailed Descriptions of the respective Function (but surely still to come). The Game runs fluidly-even in Battles with full Army strength, I have had no Problems here despite huge unit Flarting. The World map itself is very detailed and you can see how much Effort you have put in here so far-even the Topography of the real Cities I think I can see in City Mode! Top I'm just saying! I've already had the first Battles and I really Enjoy it! First build your own Camp ... Explore the Map and enemy City and then develop a Plan Of attack. The ensuing Slaughter against an Amateur, well-acting AI is then an adventurous Experience! The Further development of one's own Cities is, of course, also a Major Aspect of the Game and quickly learned in the Basic Features. Here I find one thing particularly interesting: Either I decide with a little Time To develop the City in City Mode with Resources, or I pay for the Whole Thing via the World map with Silver. The Former will probably be the better Decision in the Opening Game-but it's also more Fun! ;) The Same applies to Troops-either City: Zeit/Resources or World Map: Silver. I find the Possibility to expand and prepare for your city before an enemy attack very interesting! Here I am only bothered that you do not get a "Warning" when enemy Troops come to a City-so you have to watch the World Map always carefully. With a big Empire (and there are hundreds of Cities on the Map) it gets a bit complicated I think. But something else is done here or I just haven't got it yet. As mentioned above, I cannot say much about Research yet, as well as Diplomacy. But I think that will come across just as harmoniously once it is "learned." At least at first and second Glance looks promising-the Diplomacy view in itself I find still a bit confusing and confusing-but well, I will deal with it. The Game already has a lot of Content-here I hope it will not be too exaggerated and complicated. If what has been implemented so far is perfected, everything would already be (for me) absolutely sufficient for hundreds of Hours of Gameplay! It intertwins a lot, everything you do has an impact now ... FAZIT: If you can do with the Genre: Give this Game a Chance! It takes more than half An hour to understand the Game halfway, to recognize the Potential-and: It is already absolutely playable and entertaining in the EA! I'm looking forward to more and I'm going to get back to Bed very late today, I have to discover and keep learning! Antratir
