Melon Demon Island

I made this game for GBJAM 8 as my first completed game. It's a fairly short and simple action platformer focused on exploring. Collect watermelon slices and smash watermelon demons. At some point I plan to add controller support, but for now I didn't have time if I wanted to meet the game jam deadline. Sorry!

CONTROLS

Left and right arrow keys - Move left and right

X key - Jump

Z key - Attack with baseball bat

Collect all the watermelon slices to progress, grab life burgers to restore your health, and don't die. Good luck, and have fun!
